Sunset Enterprises, Inc.
Objective:
- Sunset Enterprises, Inc., a provider of tools & equipment to contractors around the nation, posed the idea of an online catalog.
The design needed a fool-proof navigation, and to be easily updatable with their
ever-changing line of 5000+ products.
Solutions:
- A user-friendly content program was created for their staff to
manage their products, as well as their categories for the products.
This program was run in-house and updated the website on demand.
- The catalog was built closely with the input of the client. All
categories, pictures, etc are all editable using the back-end program.
A shopping cart-like 'WishList' was created, this provides an end-user
with a way to keep track of products they need as they browse the
site.
- A Website manager section of the was created to view
statistics of the site. These include: individual product views, Top
Ten product categories, page hits, etc.
Results:
- The end result provided the client with a website they could easily
update themselves saving them time and money. The site also gives their
customers a quicker alternative to the paper catalog.
